About the role We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at our Southern Distribution Centre. You will be responsible for providing engineering/maintenance services to the hub facility, which contributes to the maintenance of the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) system. The MHE system is an automated sort system that includes powered conveyor systems, telescopic conveyors, scanning, proximity and x-ray technology, chutes and caster/roller decks. You will ensure the system’s functionality and reliability by carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, as well as fault finding and repairs. You will report to the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor and work closely with the Property Maintenance and Operational colleagues. Your responsibilities As a Material Handling Equipment Maintenance Engineer, you will: Maintain the electrical and mechanical elements of the MHE system Carry out all PPM (Planned and Preventative Maintenance) in line with.
