The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, specific expertise in financial services matters, and experience with government agencies such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, bank regulatory agencies, or a state attorney general.Duties:Represent clients in financial services enforcement and litigation matters.Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial regulations and compliance.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.2-5 years of relevant experience in financial services enforcement or litigation.Strong academic achievement throughout law school.Admitted to the bar in the state of Illinois.Ideal Candidates Will Have:Specific experience in financial services matters.Familiarity with government agencies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, bank regulatory agencies, or a state attorney general.Demonstrated background or interest in financial services matters.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.Admitted to the bar in the state of Illinois.Certifications:Admission to the bar in the state of Illinois.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.Job Location: Chicago, ILBenefits: The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a full range of elective benefits such as medical, health savings account, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, pre-tax commuter benefits, life insurance, ADD, long-term care coverage, and backup care for children and/or adults.
