Job Summary: A Warehouse Technician is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing, and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. Performs all work with the highest quality and efficiency. Duties/Responsibilities: Inspects incoming stock/materials for conformity to purchase orders and packing slips. Assists in the inventory of warehouse stock and inventory reconciliations. Assists in maintaining warehouse and related tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition Prepares and/or distributes incoming/outgoing mail; sorts, weighs, and stamps mail Wraps, packs, logs, and otherwise prepares parcels and goods for shipping. Additional duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to learn safety rules and regulations related to warehouse operations and equipment usage. Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory files and records as assigned. Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Safely operate warehouse equipment to include delivery vehicles and forklift. Understand and follow both oral/written instructions. Ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance. Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform required duties safely and effectively. Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties. Work well both independently and as a member of a high-performance team. Punctuality and ability to meet daily schedules. Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of related experience or comparable training preferred. Proficient in English speaking and writing; bilingual is desired. Working Conditions: Employee may need to lift up to 50lbs and requires full range of motion. Employee will be required to climb 6-ft to 10-ft ladders to access work. Employee may come in contact with hazardous material and/or substances while working. Employment Requirements: Must be able to pass all background and drug screens. Employee is required to have a good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
