A Psychiatry Physician General Psychiatrist practice is seeking a qualified physician for Merrillville, IN. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. Physician --- Psychiatrist (Outpatient) 200K+Lake County, Indiana--Community mental health center is currently looking for a Board Eligible/Certified Psychiatrist with an interest in outpatient psychiatry to fill an opening in northwest Indiana. Ideal candidates will hold a current unrestricted license in the state of Indiana or applied and have Board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry. Psychiatry residents and fellows are welcome to apply.--Responsibilities of the Physician --- Psychiatrist (Outpatient)-- 100% outpatient care to adults patients. Provide 20-30 minute medication management and 60-90 minute initial evaluations. Call rotated between 10 psychiatrists. Perform Evaluations and Medical Checks. Provide Education to patients, families, and the community. Perform other duties as required. --Requirements of the Physician --- Psychiatrist (Outpatient)-- Medical degree; M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Indiana OR able to obtain Board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry Experience with EHR is preferred Possess the core values of integrity, competence, compassion, and creativity Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and set appropriate boundaries and limits with clients --Compensation for the Physician --- Psychiatrist (Outpatient) The starting annual salary for the Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist is $200,000+ depending on experience and certification.
