New Job Opportunity - Engineering Services Manager: New and exciting job opportunity out of Gaithersburg, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Engineering Services Manager with at least 4 years of prior related professional experience overseeing the transition of products from the design & development phase into production . Must be knowledgeable in safety regulations and product compliance Logistics of the Role: Full Time - Direct Hire Fully On Site Role Day to Day Activities: Main responsibility includes overseeing the transition of products from the design & development phase into production Will be tasked with mechanical engineering based responsibilities that include creating 3D models and performing thermal analysis to ensure optimal enclosure design of the product Electronic Product packaging dealing with enclosures - including sheet metal and plastic designs Will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the final assembled Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) to ensure that customer's specifications/requirements - define mechanical aspects and provide outline drawings Cooperate with electrical engineers to oversee circuit board layout Will be tasked with Documentation / Specification of the project as well as ensuring all regulatory standards are met Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field At least 4+ years of experience working in an electronic product heavy environment -specification, design, and testing of electronic products Experience using an electronic design automation (EDA) tool - Mechanical or Electrical Design Knowledge of regulatory compliance / safety regulations and product compliance Powered by JazzHR
