United Electric is currently accepting applications for knowledgeable, dependable, and friendly Journeyman-Electricians. United Electric services Ventura, Santa Barbara and select areas of Los Angeles Counties. We are proud to be family owned and operated since 1979. United Electric is a fully licensed and insured contracting company specializing in custom, new, and remodel commercial and residential electrical work. Applicant MUST:Have tool bags and necessary power and hand tools.Be able to lift 50+ lbs.Ability stand, squat or kneel for long periods of timeWork from ladders, lifts and boomsHave a valid California DLHave experience in the following areas:Residential and commercial electricalAbility to read and adhere to project plans, document changes and change ordersTroubleshooting.Panel/Gear installation and upgradesInstalling all sizes of EMT, PVC, IMC, Rigid, Ocal conduitLocal and national electrical codesBe self-motivated.Work well with others - a team player.Possess good communication skills.This position is specifically for a skilled electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years experience.
