Keller is looking for an experienced Site Engineer based out of our Miami, FL and Tampa, FL locations.ResponsibilitiesProject Support and Initial Planning * Supervises and monitors construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. * Implements and enforces quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets engineering standards and design specifications * Performs pre/post bid job site inspections. * Maintains detailed and accurate records of construction activities. Prepares and compiles information and documentation for the project and contractual requirements. * Alerts the Superintendent and Project Manager of potential project impact relating to resource management, crew make-up/size, and other essential items pertaining to the project. * Responsible for material and quantity take-offs, scoping documents, terms and conditions, and delivery as applicable to support the procurement process and production analysis. * Interprets construction drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to ensure accurate implementation on-site. Risk Management * Fully understands and complies with Keller risk management policies and procedures. * Recognizes major risks and takes appropriate measures to reduce risk to the company. Change Management * Works with the Project Manager to track and log any changes to the project and identifies changes that need to be escalated. Financial Management * Analyzes targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports. * Reviews weekly job cost summaries and advises the Project Manager. * Gathers monthly financial reports and participates in recap reviews. * Tracks production quantities for revenue billing. Safety and Quality Assurance * Ensures compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety requirements. * In the event of a safety incident, work in partnership with HSEQ to support employees and project management teams per Keller policy. * Assists in resolving all quality nonconformance issues. * Exercises stop-work authority for Safety and Quality issues. Opportunity Management * Assisting with estimate and proposal preparation, takeoffs, soliciating price quotes and reviewing specs. * Assists in developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and implementing adjustments as needed to stay on schedule. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field with a minimum of 4 year's of industry experience. * Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills necessary. * Must be willing to travel.
