The Package: Salary circa £40,000 – 45,000 per annum Holidays -21 days + bank Holidays Pension contributions- nest The Role: As the Global Engineer you will Install, service, and repair conveyor equipment at customer sites using hoist, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools following layout drawings and manufacturer’s instructions, and utilizing mechanical knowledge This position requires 100 travel Works under the Project Manager on duties and tasks that reflect substantial variety and complexity. Adhering to all safety procedures and policies. Must be physically fit and willing to work continuous 60-hour work weeks. Repairs or replaces worn or defective equipment/machinery. Modifies previously installed equipment/machinery. Conducts investigative tests, repairs, and rework of existing equipment. Documents all inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures. Supply own mechanical hand tools per provided list. Ability to operate industrial power tools that will be supplied. Demonstrates proven knowledge / experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within conveyor systems installations. Applies skills and adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment, as appropriate to area of specialization. Reads drawings and does proper set out using datum lines and other references. Layout and install of conveyor, platforms, hydraulic and pneumatic supply lines.
