About the Opportunity Reporting to the Program Manager, the Ward Assistant contributes to the effective operation of the nursing unit by acting as the unit aid and central communication person for the unit/program. The ward assistant performs unit aide duties including ordering and stocking supplies, reception, clerical and administrative duties, following hospital policies/procedures, and discreet handling of confidential matters.
