A Pediatric Hospitalist Physician practice is seeking a qualified physician for Winchester, KY. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. We have a client in Kentucky, about an hour away from Winchester, KY, that is searching for a BC/ BE Hospitalist to join their well-established, busy facility. Start date is negotiable, but needed as soon as possible. Details: ---BC/BE Hospitalist- Pediatrics ---No visa candidates at this time ---Successful candidate would provide care in the newborn nursery and inpatient pediatric unit ---The work schedule would be shared between two pediatric hospitalists each working every other week and providing coverage in house 8-5 daily and taking call from home in the evening ---Pediatric hospitalist is not required to be present at deliveries unless requested by OB ---Would be responsible for the newborn nursery and inpatient pediatric clinic ---Candidate must be willing to teach the residents on pediatrics rotation ---Newborn Nursery: 23 bed Level I, 8 bed Level II care unit that focuses on supporting the neonate through the transition into extra uterine life and facilitating the recovery of the newborns experiencing delivery complications; nursing staff is NRP and STABLE certified ---Pediatric Services: 10 beds with all telemetry capability; nursing staff is certified in both PALS and ACLS ---Post training years factored into offered salary ---Sign on bonus ---Relocation assistance ---CME ---Student loan repayment This city with a growing population of 11,196, is home to one of the world---s largest man-made lakes ringing in at 101 miles in length and a whopping 85 miles deep! The city holds an annual master musician festival and is also home to the largest monthly car show in the Southeastern United States. The civil war battle of Mill Springs took place nearby and the reenactments held there often draw large crowds.
