Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/26/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Local ContractTRA Ultrasound TechnologistTRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to an outside agency. TRA Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer performs all General Ultrasound Imaging exams utilizing proper technique, processes correctly marked images, calibrates and operates ultrasound equipment, completes computerized tracking and supply charges, and assists Radiologist during invasive exams. Performs equipment quality control, transporting of patients and room set up and clean up. Available for on call as required by department and performs other duties as assigned.BENEFITS- Guaranteed hours for Travel Contracts- Preferred Booking Agreement for Local Contracts - Weekly Pay- Holiday Pay- Contract Security compared to a contract with an outside agencyMINIMUM EDUCATIONGraduate of an accredited school of diagnostic sonographyPREFERRED EDUCTIONAssociates DegreeMINIMUM EXPERIENCE 2 years as an Ultrasound Tech REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE- State License (If Required) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Songography (ARDMS)- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography - CPR-Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Our Hire Process- We do qualify our clinicians to meet or exceed the minimum requirements of a travel or local assignment.
