Key responsibilities: Identifying Infrastructure Automation Use Cases: Work closely with other Technical SMEs to integrate automation solutions into existing processes. Analyse existing manual processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Developing Infrastrcuture Automation Scripts: Develop, implement, and manage automation scripts and tools to enhance and streamline network, compute and infrastructure deployment tasks. Support Infrastructure Automation Tools: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automated tasks and tools. Maintaindocumentation related to automation tools, procedures, and configurations. Provide Training: Provide training and guidance to other team members on automation techniques and best practices. Create and Manage Data Models: Create and manage data models describing project instances. Key Skills/Knowledge:  Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python, Go, Power Shell, UNIX shell scripts.  Ansible, Terraform, Git Hub, working with YAML and JSON formatted data sets Strong understanding of Cisco Enterprise and Industrial switching platforms, Cisco Hyperflex, VMWare ESXi, and VMWare NSX.  Infrastructure services, including (but not limited to) DNS, DHCP, NTP, Active Directory Splunk Experience required:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.  Proven experience with scripting languages, preferably Python, Go, Power Shell, UNIX shell scripts.  Proven experience with Ansible and Terraform.  Proven experience with Git Hub is a must.  Hands-on experience working with YAML and JSON formatted data sets. Ability to create data structures in YAML and JSON.  Strong understanding of Cisco Enterprise and Industrial switching platforms, Cisco Hyperflex, VMWare ESXi, and VMWare NSX.  Strong understanding of common infrastructure services, including (but not limited to) DNS, DHCP, NTP, Active Directory. .
