Firewater Response LLC has over 36 years of experience evaluating damage and developing comprehensive mitigation plans for commercial properties (Hospitals, Schools, Universities, Office Buildings, Industrial). We're a family-owned business offering smoke, mold, mildew, fire, and water remediation services. We are seeking someone with great ethics and values as well as high energy and excellent problem-solving skills to join our team as a COMMERCIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN for the surrounding Pittsburgh, PA areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency to do the right thing. You will be part of a fantastic team that is responsible for responding to water, fire, mold, and bio-hazard damaged commercial facilities. Responsibilities: Monitor, inspect, and complete tasks for restoration jobs to ensure completion of drying, demolition, and various restoration activities. Prepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies. Retrieve work orders, check route for travel, ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on the truck needed for the job, and arrive to work site on time. Complete assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job. Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Perform daily monitoring and tasks on assigned jobs to commercial customers with urgency. Make daily adjustments to the drying plan based on meter readings. Additional duties required as needed. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Driver’s License. Be committed to 24/7 restoration cycle, including on-call rotation. Move up to 50 lbs. by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects and stand/walk for extended periods of time. May encounter a variety of worksite conditions, due to the nature of the work.
