This temporary role, part of the Kingston Strategy, offers a unique chance to contribute to the success of a client's campaign and play a crucial role in getting candidates on the ballot. About the Job: As a Petitioner, you'll be at the forefront of our project, collecting signatures to support our candidate. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to be a part of a meaningful movement leading up to the election. We're seeking enthusiastic individuals who are ready to make a positive impact. Qualities We're Looking For: Diligent: Your dedication will drive the success of our project. Structured: Bring order to the chaos and ensure seamless operations. Autonomous: Take ownership of your role and make a difference independently. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Project Manager to exceed on-the-ground metrics.Engage progressive communities on the turf.Attend training and staff meetings.Ensure community contact and arrive on time at the site. Required Qualifications: Literacy: Ability to read and write. Reliable Transportation: Access to transportation to and from the site. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Physical Stamina: Ability to walk for 8 hours a day. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Experience: Previous petition gathering experience is a plus.
