The Opportunity: Leapstart is expanding its horizons with an upcoming half-day preschool program at two of our Cupertino locations. We're in search of a visionary Preschool Director who not only cherishes early childhood education but is also adept at sculpting successful preschool programs from the ground up. Your Leadership Role: Curriculum Crafting: Develop a preschool curriculum rooted in the latest child development research and best practices. Team Building: Hire, mentor, and lead a team of passionate preschool educators. Communication Hub: Be the go-to person for all preschool matters, liaising with families, staff, and community partners. Strategic Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our administrative team, ensuring our preschool vision aligns with the school's broader goals. Accreditation & Licensure: Manage all documentation to achieve preschool program accreditation. Financial Oversight: Handle budgeting and financial aspects of the preschool program. Marketing & Outreach: Champion our preschool program, drawing families and the community closer. Trend Tracking: Stay updated with the latest in preschool education, ensuring our program remains top-tier. Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine our program, always aiming for excellence. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or related. 5+ years as a preschool director/administrator. Leadership prowess and impeccable communication skills. Mastery in organization and time management. A collaborative spirit, able to work with diverse stakeholders. Deep knowledge of child development and early childhood best practices. Tech-savvy with strong computer skills. Valid California Director Permit (or willingness to obtain). Flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
