The Psychiatrist MD is a medical doctor who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders. Psychiatrists are trained to assess and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. They may also prescribe medication, provide psychotherapy, and offer other forms of treatment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients with a variety of mental health needs. Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Conduct assessments of patient needs and progress.
