Vascular centers of America is looking for a PRN Cath Lab Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. We are willing to train candidates who have a strong desire to learn and a willingness to work variable hours, including some weekends. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform assessments, interventions, and evaluations of patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures. Administer medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients for signs of complications and take appropriate actions as necessary. Assist with the placement and removal of arterial and venous sheaths. Operate and troubleshoot equipment used during catheterization procedures. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. QUALIFICATIONS: Active RN license in the state of [insert state here]. BLS and ACLS certification. Strong communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to work variable hours, including some weekends.
