Position: Account Manager Location: Virginia Beach, VA or Remote Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and agent partners understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions. Identify and pursue business opportunities, expanding the client base and revenue streams. Manage the pricing activities of several of our key accounts and partnerships. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and smooth operations, meeting and exceeding client expectations. Prepare and present proposals, reports, and updates to clients and management. Stay updated on industry trends and market changes, providing insights to enhance service offerings. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or relevant field. Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry, with a strong sales and account management background. At least 3 years of experience at a global freight forwarding company. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (CRM systems, MS Office, etc.). Flexibility for occasional travel, as necessary.
