Raise the bar in the Automotive Industry Grow and develop professionally Learn from the best in the business Take the next step in a long CAREER We are looking for an automotive enthusiast to join our growing service team. The role of porter is responsible for washing, moving, and delivering vehicles. Our lot porters will also be responsible for assisting technicians. Maintain new- and used- vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary. Clean, wax, polish, refurbish and detail vehicles that were collision damaged, as well as old and new vehicles. Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service. Understand and deliver on specific customer requirements. Maintain proper function of all service tools and equipment. Directly report any damage to the supervising manager in a clear and timely fashion. Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles. Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards. Clean driveway and sidewalks. Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed. Make key tags for vehicles. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent customer service skills. Professional appearance and work ethic. Ability to work well in a process driven environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid CA drivers license and a good driving record.
