Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our clients who visit our trades counter. This is a hands-on position, that requires excellent customer service and organization skills, and the ability to work as a team member efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment. As a Counter Sales teammate at BENDER, you will be accountable for:Providing the highest level of service to customersEnsuring customer orders and requests are managed in a timely and accurate mannerEffectively and quickly managing customer calls and emailsIncreasing sales and awareness of new products, specials, promotions, etc.Proactively engaging in trainings to improve your product knowledge and selling skillsIncreasing average line item per ticketProBENDER threadsSales Order $$ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet customers/answer incoming calls at the counter with professionalism and a friendly attitudeProcess customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale and WMS systemsFulfill customer orders and arrange for product pickupsCollaborate with other team members to ensure inventory accuracy and product availabilityHandle returns and exchanges professionally and in accordance with company policiesBe willing to find solutions and solve challengesAssist in resolving customer inquiries and concernsMaintain a positive and helpful attitude, even during busy periodsMaintain a clean and organized counter area.QUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience in wholesale/distribution counter sales preferredPrevious experience in Plumbing and HVAC experience is a plusCustomer-focused mindset with a genuine desire to help customers find solutions.A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, collaborate, and improveAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.Reliable and punctual.Proficiency in using technology, including point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office, and RFS/WMS scannersStrong organization and attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Physical ability to lift and move heavy items occasionally.WHAT WE OFFER:Competitive salary and benefits package, including PTO, Insurance, a 401(k) match and others.Opportunity to grow within a dynamic organization.Great company culture.
