Job SummaryIPEX is seeking a highly motivated Inside sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will support multiple accounts and work across all levels of the organization, in addition to serving our customers externally.Principal ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with existing and new customers. They will use their communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until close and ensure proper after-sales service.Support the US Retail Sales ManagersWarm calling sales activities & sales funnel opportunity tracking.Interact with customers regarding products & general inquires.Collect regional/national price and market information.Retail and selling price analysis.Assist in preparing for customer sales events (shows, promotions, conferences, etc.).Help evaluate and prioritize growth prospects.Involvement with new business projects: part cross-reference, new customer set-up detailsBasic sales analysis and tracking.Product assortment and merchandising initiatives.Develop valuable product, customer, and market knowledge.Minimal travel required to support customer trade shows and selling events.Key Performance FeaturesMust have customer 1st focus, customer intimacy.Willingness to learnHigh drive for building strong customer relationships based on customer satisfactionOverall management of sales orders and customer inquiriesUnderstanding of pricing relationships, and/or ability to organize price informationA firm grasp of the IPEX computer systemRelationship with internal colleagues and ability to resolve problems and disputes by consulting with the appropriate team membersPositive attitude and team focused outlookHigh degree of organization and accuracyTelephone manner and skillsQualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience selling, developing leads, meeting sales quotas, and building relationshipsA very professional manner and a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service in previous roles – comfortable interacting with all levels of the organizationLooking for a motivated results-driven professional who enjoys working in a team environment.Good time management and follow-up skills, including, the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output Excellent computer and internet skills, especially Microsoft Office and emailDemonstrated ability to optimally resolve customer issues and complaints patientlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsGreat teammate including the demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environmentKnowledge and experience using SAP would be considered an asset.Industry experience is an assetIPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
