DescriptionPosition Summary: The purpose of this job is to perform a very wide variety of maintenance tasks including butnot limited to electrical and maintenance work such as: installation, fabrication, assembly, set-up, diagnosis,troubleshooting maintenance work on plant equipment, services and facilities requiring the use of hand andmaintenance tools and skills, works from blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.Primary Responsibilities:· Performs work on energized lines, circuits, and connections with a wide range of voltages including100V, 220V AND 440V· May work with voltages up to 12,500V at distribution transformers· As necessary makes hot cutovers· Operates a wide variety of equipment such as: various saws, pipe threaders, drills, gauges, meters,feelers, voltmeters, o-scopes, other electrical diagnostic equipment, micrometers, industrial forktrucks, hand trucks, machine tools, welding equipment, carts, ladders, lifts, etc.· Provides cross-training for other skills· May be a member of a work group (team) that utilizes some business skills such as: writing andentering work orders, time distribution, quotes and estimates, use of computers in performance ofduties, etc.· Works independently, coordinates PMs, rebuilds, shutdowns, tasks and other employees asrequired· Displays innovativeness when dealing with complex problems, trains other in maintenancetechniques designed for sensitive processes· Works as a member of a team· Writes process documentation· Prepares maintenance projects and layouts· Interfaces with customers, vendors, and suppliers· Responsible for the quality of work, timeliness, work methods, practices, etc.Required Qualifications:· GED or High School Diploma· 2 year Electrical Technician / Electrician degree preferred· General understanding of electrical theory and best practices· Effort equivalent to handling 16-50 lbs., works overhead in tiring awkward positions, performs bench workrepairing instruments and motors, etc.· Repairs machinery including troubleshooting live circuitry· Hot Environment· Equipment used/mental exertion with computersDemonstrates and Lives Corelle Brand’s Values and Behaviors:· Act with Integrity and Humility: Tell the Truth; Give Credit· Be Accountable: Keep Commitments; Communicate· Continuously Improve: Ask questions; Challenge the Status Quo· Grow Our People; Seek & Give Feedback; Recognize Others· Wow!
