Brain Balance Achievement Centers seeks a dynamic Childhood Development Technician to lead and drive each student through our program, many of our clients have an Autism diagnosis and/or have aggressive behaviors. This position requires a motivated and passionate individual who will guide and assist children through various activities that will stimulate the brain and create profound change for children's functional levels. Our unique Brain Balance program deals directly with children who have disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, ODD, Dyslexia and Processing Disorders. Clients who have worked in ABA Therapy or as line therapist, and education are often a great fit for this position, however all interested please apply*Benefits Part-time allows for a good work life balance or a supplement to another job/school Become an intricate part in changing the trajectory of a child's life Happy work environment with passionate colleagues Travel not required, all sessions done in center (unlike line therapy positions) Requirements Skills and Experience Experience with children with Autism/ASD Experience with children ages 4 - 18 Degree in a related field is preferred Confident dealing with difficult behaviors Knowledgeable in behavior management techniques Patient and kind towards children with special needs Team player Outgoing/enthusiastic and confident personality Ability to take initiative Excellent communication skills with both children and adults The ability to multi-task Available most afternoons into the evening Flexible schedule Creative Professional Competitive Pay We provide market competitive compensation including performance-based bonuses.
