We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for our open Electrical Engineer position. The overall purpose of this role is carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our systems meet required safety standards and collaborating with technicians and computer programmers to solve emerging issues. Research, develop, design, improve and test electrical equipment, and systems. Research manufacturing processes and analyze data and trends to create new products.Ultimately, the Electrical Engineer will improve our company's products and processes and contribute to its growth. Benefits packages includes:Medical/ Dental/ VisionHSA or FSA Short (NJ TDI) and Long Term disability401kWellness Program with Incentive for program completion Submit an updated resume and cover letter through this site for consideration Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Design electrical equipment, systems and establish manufacturing processes.Direct activities ensuring that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to function specifications.Perform risk assessments and confirm compliance with safety standards and engineering codes.Conduct research to build new applications and collaborate with peers to craft/apply new system processesManage projects and deliver on timeDefine and ensure installations and applications are in line with customer needs and requirements and safety standardsPerform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems, summarize data and report on test resultsEvaluate new equipment needs, calculate costs and help prepare budgetsOversee maintenance inspection plans, assist in solving equipment malfunctionsTrain technical and non-technical personnel on new equipment operationsSupervise Maintenance personnel and/or contractors as neededAny other tasks as advised by management Qualifications To perform this job successfully, individual must satisfactorily perform all essential duties. Below requirements are representative of the required knowledge, skill, and abilities. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum two years working in a similar industrial settingRead and write Allen Bradley PLC programming. SLC 500 and ControlLogix -requiredAbility to drive projects to completion on time and within budgetExcellent in all forms of communication skills.Able to interact with all levels of managementMaintain professional, respectful mannerRead policies and procedures; most of which are in English.
