Our client is a leading technology consulting firm specializing in data analytics and business intelligence solutions. They are known for delivering real results to real-world problems for some of the most well-known companies in the world. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Manager. This is a critical role in leading, managing, and advising a team of consultants, utilizing your expertise in consultant accountability, resourcing, strategic account management, sales support, and will be vital in driving the success of consulting projects and achieving business goals. Consulting Manager Responsibilities Consultant Accountability: Manage Consultant utilization Ensure effective resourcing for all client engagements Monitor all engagement timing and deliverables, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency Implement and evolve consulting processes and best practices Ownership of engagement profitability and client satisfaction Strategic Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, acting as a trusted advisor Assist sales with scoping and related sales efforts Support follow-on sales for existing clients, identifying opportunities for additional services and revenue growth Leadership and Management: Lead and run consulting L10 meetings, ensuring effective communication and alignment among the consulting team Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with consultants, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback Assist in the hiring and onboarding processes for new consultants, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization Operations and Sales Support: Implement consulting and operational best practices Assist with reporting and model enhancements, leveraging your expertise in Power BI and the Azure Data stack to improve operational efficiency Ensure that consulting technologies and processes, including Power BI and the Azure Data stack, are followed by all team members Review and approve client invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing guideline Must-Have Qualifications: 8+ years of experience leading consulting teams - must have consulting experience Advanced data analytics/science skills and some experience with the Microsoft Stack Experience building and optimizing a data practice, including strong operational knowledge and best practices Experience with client sales and growing profitable long-term relationships High level of individual initiative and drive, balanced by an ability to take direction from others and add value to projects originating with others Demonstrates trustworthiness and competence Only open to those candidates who can work legally in the United States Open to candidates who reside in CST and EST time zones Compensation and Benefits $150,000+ based on experience Remote work environment Career growth trajectory Top-shelf benefits package that includes unlimited time off, 100% covered health insurance, and 401K Powered by JazzHR
