JOB TITLE: Unarmed Security Guard Services LOCATION: Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, 450 Auburn Avenue, NE Atlanta , GA 30312 DUTIES: Provide unarmed security services. Provide a Guard Log, to log arrival and departure times and the arrival of deliveries and services to the National Park Service. Assist National Park Service personnel with pedestrian traffic control, when necessary during special events or emergencies. Operate National Park Service issued hand-held digital two-way radio and/or telephone to relay information to appropriate personnel. Assist the National Park Service Chief Range or Law Enforcement Ranger and other emergency personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferred. In-depth knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment. Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats. Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures.
