As a Product Owner in our Information Technology organization, you'll work on innovative projects impacting our customers, agents and employees. In this key role within the organization, you will work with various levels of professionals to define, deliver, and manage efforts that align with our strategic goals. You'll be responsible for planning, analyzing, delivering and managing multiple applications with significant size, scope, and complexity. You'll work with a variety of technologies supporting front and backend systems to develop and maintain the health and stability of our applications. Provide insights and contribute to decisions impacting the team. What you will do:The Product Owner plays a key role in the company's strategic direction, defining and articulating new opportunities and maintaining existing applications by working in close concert with customers, partners, stakeholders on matters related to the system, process and/or product. In this role, you will support the Business by working with IT Development and QA teams with responsibility for eliciting, understanding and documenting business needs to determine and recommend the most optimal solution to conduct software development.Provide input to internal business groups and peers on technology and process improvement projects designed to improve business and IT results.Create and manage the system and/or product roadmap, prioritize product opportunities, refine and maintain existing features to drive business goals within our internal, external core application and services. Represent the voice of the end user, product teams and can clearly articulate the problem to be solved or the opportunity to be captured while aligning to business strategy.Defines business and functional requirements for enhancements and projects to implement IT business solutions with a focus on critical business priorities.Communicate functional business requirements in enough detail to effectively involve IT Stakeholders across domains and suppliers and conversely communicate technical solutions to business stakeholders in non-technical terminology.Understand plans for defining, delivering, enabling and supporting information technology system components into the organization architecture.Assist to define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a basic knowledge of business systems and industry requirement with consideration of business application to both current and future business environment.Identify applicable technology alternatives to given business problems with the assistance and direction of the IT resources and /or Subject Matter Experts. Coordinate and facilitate user testing activities by partnering with IT team, business partners, Third party suppliers, Subject Matter Experts, etc. related to the environment, setup, installation by using test and execution standards. Focus on outcomes over outputs, incorporating design thinking methods and analytics to technical design across all teams as part of the development lifecycle. Collaborate across teams to align the customer journey and dependent backlogs. Support project manager/release manager by providing input into project information such as scope, evaluation criteria and results, etc.What YOU will bring to C&F: A Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or business management related field or equivalent work experience is required. 6+ years of experience in Application, Product management, Business development, Software lifecycle or a similar role is required. Strong verbal skills and ability to lead conversations with internal and external teams. Proven ability to work and communicate effectively on cross-functional, internal and external teams is required. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $78,800 to a maximum of $131,300. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
