Heytutor is looking to hire part-time tutors to help 9-12th grade students with Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, IM 3; Social studies, science, physics and precalculus. We have 19 positions available within the San Diego area that we are looking to fill. We offer competitive pay for our tutors, consistent weekly schedules, and rewards for tutors achieving certain milestones.Position: 9-12 School TutorResponsibilities: Assess students’ current Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, IM 3; Social studies, science, physics and precalculus skills. Help students work through their homework and study for exams. Provide mentoring and social and emotional support by encouraging impactful, positive tutor-student relationships and increasing students’ motivation and engagement in learning. Qualifications: Candidates who are currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or have an Associates or Bachelors degree. Some kind of experience with children would be considered. Comfortable working in a classroom setting with grade school students. Successfully complete a Background Check. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.
