Sales Service Coordinator Job Locations US-MA-Milford | US-NY-Clifton Park | US-ME-Scarborough | US-NH-Londonderry | US-ME-Brewer | US-VT-Richmond | US-NY-Syracuse | US-NY-Binghamton | US-MA-North Reading | US-NY-Tonawanda ID 2023-4754 Category Office and Administrative Support Type Full-Time (FT) Overview Milton CAT is seeking a Sales Service Coordinator (SSC) responsible for all administrative aspects of preparing equipment for sale or rent. Duties include, but not limited to scheduling service, obtaining quotes, validating information, scheduling transportation and providing support to all internal departments. Sales Service Coordinators are the key point of contact between the Sales and Service Department. Pay Rate: Minimum starting wage of $24.00/hour based on location and experience. Note: We are recruiting for one open position that could be based anywhere within our territory. We have advertised this position in multiple cities. Responsibilities Receive requests for services, quotes and installations via phone or email. Verifying Sales Order accuracy and coordinating cost worksheets. Confirm compatibility of work tools & kits with host machine. Obtain quotes for parts, labor, components and/or work tools. Create CSRs (work orders) with detailed instructions on work to be performed.Manage cooperatively with shops workload, job priorities, and problem resolution. Track progress to ensure the equipment is delivered on-time. Communicate with the credit department to ensure financial needs are met.Coordinating trucking arrangements to and from customers as well as between Milton CAT store locations Qualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. RequiredHigh school diploma or (GED) equivalent. Proficient in use of technology including Microsoft based programs (Skype, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite).Ability to multitask and possess good written & verbal communication skills.Ability to keep shop on tasks and resolve issues in a timely manner.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency and with minimal supervision.Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and understand machine operation and work tool (bucket, thumb, hammer, grapple) operation concepts which will assist with prep coordination/scheduling.Self-motivated with the desire to minimize issues during the sales, prep, and delivery process - providing creative solutions/options to Salesmen and Sales Managers to problems that arise. PreferredCustomer service background.Knowledge of construction equipment or construction equipment management.Knowledge or background in project management - short term less than 1 week, and long term 2 month+.Knowledge or background in heavy hauling, load planning, or other transportation related topics.
