Picks, packs, crates, and ships product to fill orders.Conducts light assembly work, operates power equipment, and performs a variety of tasks under direct supervision.Perform quality checks as needed and properly record results if necessary. Alert Leadsperson of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns or any other situations.Key AccountabilitiesOff-loading trucks utilizing forklift or pallet jackVerify that the quality, type, and amount of materials received are accurateBreaking down freight - Hand off-loading of product to consolidated put-away locationPicking product orders - Hand loading product to palletsPackaging outbound shipments - Wraps, straps or over pack boxing of productManifesting UPS shipmentsCreates bills of lading for truck carriersProduce and attach identifying tags to product or shipmentsFulfills all safety responsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/LeadQualifications/RequirementsPrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredHigh School Degree or equivalent preferred On a continuous basis: work in a standing position, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Familiarity with both LTL and UPS shippingGood communication, data entry, basic math and organization skillsExperience working with standard hand and power toolsAbility to work in a team settingTotal Rewards and BenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life InsuranceMatching 401(k) ContributionHealth Savings AccountUp to 3 Weeks Vacation12 Paid HolidaysAnnual Bonus EligibilityEducational ReimbursementMatching Gift ProgramEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
