We seek a Cloud Developer to join our team and help us continue to provide a high level of support to our business partners, while planning for our exciting future in the cloud. What you will do:This position is to support and develop in house, cloud based, and data driven development initiatives, which involves/includes: Primary support of our Audit application Visual Audit, which will include front end and back end support, as well as management of the backlog with the business unitWorking with the full suite of AWS Services (CLI, EC2, S3, Lambda, DMS, Glue, etc...)Working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDBWorking with Microsoft SQL Server tools (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS)Working with databases and data pipelines in SnowflakeData Lake development for reporting, analytics and machine learning purposes Data ingestion using Fivetran, AirByte or other near-real-time data intake toolsWorking with the various business units to analyze need, recommend solutions, and work with the team to prioritize, plan, and execute on deliverablesSupport and development of solutions for various applications within the divisionSetting up a server for an application or standalone APIUsing Confluence and JIRA to manage tasks, projects, and documentationWorking with version control software such as Git and Bitbucket Communicate with other Digital teams, as well as the Business Units, to clearly define project goals, discuss timelines, and provide input on solutionsBecome an agent of change and use your creativity and skills to implement new technology and skillsThe Digital Data Services Cloud Developer will work with a group of highly motivated and experienced technologists who have spent the past several years working hard to implement innovative tools to the C&F Surplus & Specialty Division for quick and scalable business solutions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $77,400 to a maximum of $129,000. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
