Sales Specialist 7930 N Faulkner Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53224, USA Req #766 Wednesday, November 22, 2023 Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director the Sales Specialist is responsible for working with existing and prospective customers to provide sales support combined with account and specific product set knowledge ownership. Emphasis will be placed on processes and systems to enable effective and efficient sales and customer support. Based in the office or remotely the individual will collaborate with a field-based sales team to grow sales and customer satisfaction. Essential Functions: Build and maintain customer relationships to leverage time of field-based Area Sales Managers (ASM)Partners with the Area Sales Manager and sales management to increase sales by supporting the outside staff for a specific region or account base.Respond to all internal & external communications within four business hours.Properly route customer inquiries to correct outside sales resources.Respond to questions on pricing and availability.Handle inbound Corp sales leads and follow up accordingly.Monitors order fulfillment and communicates order status to customers and sales as required.Provides customers with accurate delivery information based on information available in JDE.Participates or leads in complex product cross-referencing and quoting on behalf of outside sales.Leads in collecting and maintaining customer sales, opportunity data, and strategic planning and reviews.Specific assigned account responsible for maintenance, service, projects, and revenue growthBecome a product expert in at least one category.Supports or leads sales and marketing promotional activities and projects.Participates in outside sales activity regularly throughout the year.
