Electrical Engineering Intern (Wireless Spectrum Focus) Job ID 2023-3404 Category Engineering Job Locations US-IL-Niles Workplace Arrangement Hybrid Overview SUMMER 2024Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter. Like all wireless communication systems, Shure's wireless products also use the spectrum. The Electrical Engineering Intern (Wireless Spectrum Focus) intern will help put together a database of frequency bands that our products can use worldwide, with focus on key markets.This Internship is Hybrid. Responsibilities Liaise with Global Sales, Global Compliance and other relevant teams inside Shure to gather information on frequencies that our products can use.Gather information from national and international regulatory bodies about what frequencies we can use.Build a database using this information that can be used internally and externally. Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field, with a minimum of two years of engineering coursework.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Access, and Word).Knowledge of database programming language.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Keen willingness to learn new concepts and skills.WHO WE AREShure's mission is to be the most trusted audio brand worldwide - and for nearly a century, our Core Values have aligned us to be just that.
