Shift Type Job Title Technical Buyer Education Bachelor's Degree Location Stereotaxis - St. Louis, MO 63101 US (Primary) Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Category Manufacturing Date Needed By Job Type Full-time Travel Job Description Position Summary:The Technical Buyer is primarily responsible for logistics coordination including the management of incoming and outgoing shipments with various transportation and logistics vendors. This position serves to support Field Service personnel and system delivery to customer sites. The Technical Buyer will also work with vendor item drawings, generating and performing updates to them when necessary, and coordinating changes with subcontractors. Essential Responsibilities:*Generate purchase orders through Great Plains relating to production inventory/expense requisitions.*Assign Stereotaxis part numbers to purchased items in accordance with company policy.*Provide guidance to electrical/mechanical engineers to select vendors for specific part types used in Stereotaxis designs to assure best availability and cost selection in addition to maintaining best available quality.*Obtain necessary data from vendors for addition to Stereotaxis approved vendor list and to establish Net 30 terms and assure addition to the Great Plains database.*Manage logistics coordination in support of field service personnel and system delivery.*Provide all necessary shipping paperwork such as packing lists, commercial invoices, certificate of origin, and shippers export declaration as required for each shipment.*Negotiate supplier agreements with subcontractors for the production of Stereotaxis assemblies.*Coordinate technical engineering drawing package changes with subcontractors producing Stereotaxis designed hardware.*Resolve inspection issues for incoming parts and assemblies as required. Review all non-conformances and coordinate returns for parts supplied by outside vendors. Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills:*Bachelor's degree highly preferred.*Familiarity with Great Plains and Microsoft Office highly preferred*Ability to prioritize and multitask with excellent organizational skills to meet business objectives*Legally authorized to work in the United States Work Conditions:This role is an in-office position at Stereotaxis' headquarters.
