Yes Overview The Solution Architect holds a key consultative role in the IT department responsible for developing solutions for teams across CIS departments and business units. The Solution Architect will operate under the supervision of the Enterprise Architect to gather business and technical requirements to develop, design, and document solution architectures for IT to deliver to our internal and external customers as a consultative service to the enterprise. The Solution Architect will be responsible for handling service requests for collaboratively working with project teams, IT, Security, PMO, and vendors to develop technically sound and secure solutions that meet requirements, on-time and, on budget. Salary Range: $108,100 - $163,600 We offer a competitive total rewards package at the Center for Internet Security:Base salary is determined on a number of factors including, but not limited to, education, experience and skills.Health (PPO, EPO, HSA), Dental & Vision Insurance eligibility starting from the first day of hire$500 wellness card for Health Coverage Participants401(k) with 4% Company Match, vested from the first day of hireFlexible Spending Account (FSA) & Dependent Care Account (DCA)Life InsuranceBonding LeavePaid Volunteering ProgramBonus eligibilityPaid Time Off (PTO) inclusive of vacation, personal and sick timePaid HolidaysWellness ProgramEmployee Engagement ActivitiesProfessional Development OpportunitiesTuition ReimbursementStudent Loan PayDown ProgramEmployee Referral programEmployee Assistance Program What You'll Do Follow the Enterprise Architect (EA) Program's Architecture Development Methodology (ADM), CIS policies and standards, and industry best practicesCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather detailed technical requirements and specificationsCollaborate with EA, IT, and Information Security Office (ISO) teams to align solutions with CIS portfolio, IT operations, and security best practices Research, evaluate, and propose architecture and technology options that best align with the business and technical requirementsDevelop architectural artifacts (i.e., diagrams, matrices, catalogs, etc.) and requirements specifications across the architectural domains:Data Architecture (i.e., databases, data warehouses, big data, data lakes, data inventories, data flows, etc.)Application Architecture (i.e., web servers, application servers, middleware, SOA, microservices, etc.)Technical Architecture (i.e., network infrastructure, storage infrastructure, compute infrastructure, software components, monitoring, logging, automation, etc.)Security Architecture (i.e., identity access management, authentication, authorization, access controls, security monitoring, etc.)Guide project teams through the procurement process for any new technologies that are requiredAssist project teams through the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process by creating the required ARB review materials and collaborating with the ARB reviewers to seek architectural approval for your developed solution architectures. This includes new projects and updates to existing projectsMaintain a close relationship with project teams to update and maintain the solution architecture documentation throughout the life-cycle of the solutions through the ARB and change control processes. This includes working with traditional and agile project development teams What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Compute Information Systems, or a related field*Cloud Architect training & certifications (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)Technology training & certifications (i.e., Cisco, NetApp, Microsoft, Red Hat, Ubuntu, VMware)3 to 5 years' experience with Architecture Modeling Languages and Diagraming Tools3 to 5 years' experience with Solution Architecture across architecture domains (Business, Data, Application, Technology, and Security)Strong presentation and communications skillsSolid organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multi-taskMust be authorized to work in the United StatesIt's a Plus if You Have:TOGAF 9.x or above training and certificationArchiMate 3.x or above training and certificationITIL 3.x or above training and certificationPrior experience in IT operations, systems engineering, and software developmentExperience with CIS Benchmarks and ControlsExperience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate's degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
