The Networking practice with the Network Operations Center is a dynamic, fast paced environment dealing with a comprehensive array of products and services, including Fortinet SD-WAN, Juniper MIST, and Cisco's Meraki suite.The position includes customer solution development and deployment support, new product research, design, and implementation, tier 3 technical escalation and management support, as well as facilitating automation and integration initiatives to streamline deployments at scale. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and maintain network solutions utilizing Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco, and Velocloud technology.Assist with the implementation and onboarding of innovative security and networking products, including in-house designed hardware solutions based on industry best practices.Proactively review nation-wide network deployments for optimization at scale.Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for Fortinet solutions, identifying and resolving complex network issues in a timely manner.Stay current with industry trends and Granite-deployed product updates to provide innovative solutions and recommendations to clients.Manage a personal ticket queue to ensure timely resolution of ongoing tasks.Work closely with clients to understand their specific network requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure their satisfaction with Granite-managed solutions. Required Qualifications: Self-starter, goal-oriented, ability to work independently without micromanagementHands-on experience with network and security appliance configuration and troubleshootingUnderstanding of Networking, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, SD-WANKnowledge of network and security design concepts and best practicesAbility to work well independently and in a team environment in a hybrid WFH modelKnowledge of API and application interoperability conceptsExperience with coding and automation conceptsExperience in customer facing technical support rolesJNCIS certification or equivalent experience with Juniper solutions. Preferred Qualifications: CCNP certification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Network Design, Network Security or related field5 years' experience with network design and deployment concepts5 years' experience with customer technical supportExperience with coding and automation platforms such as Python, JavaScript or similarPrior public trust P2 security clearance
