FedEx Ground is now hiring FedEx Delivery Route Drivers in the Colonial Heights, VA area. Drivers operate out of the South Chesterfield terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses. Our drivers use step vans provided by the employer. Terminal Location: 1645 Ashton Park Dr Colonial Heights, VA 23834 Pay: $120-165/day Delivery Driver Benefits: A weekly paycheck! Company provided uniforms Safety-oriented company culture Other performance-based incentives Easy-to-use GPS navigation and a manager on call for issues Vacation Pay Paid training Opportunities for bonuses and raises Delivery Driver Job Information: Full-time is 5 days scheduled per week. At least one weekend day is required. Part-Time is 2 to 3 days scheduled per week. Our routes dispatch no later than 8:30 AM and are completed once all packages are delivered (usually around 5:30pm) . This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck at each stop. Delivery Driver Requirements: 1 year of verifiable work driving experience in the last 3 years. Military Driving, Taxi, Uber, Pizza Delivery, and Landscape Driver is an acceptable experience! Clean Motor Vehicle Record Applicants must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical/Physical Exam (Employer reimbursement provided) Must be willing to undergo a background check Physically able to move packages up to 150Ibs with a dolly May deliver 100-230 parcels per day Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Arrive at the South Chesterfield terminal to pick up the vehicle and packages Loading and unloading packages from the truck Delivering packages to the destination Scanning and logging packages SAFETY, INTEGRITY, SERVICE, and ATTENDANCE are top priorities!
