A FedEx Ground contractor, is looking for Full time & Part time Package Delivery Drivers in Oak Park, Michigan! The ideal candidate is a self starter, safe driver, effectively communicates with customers, conveys a positive image of FedEx, and manages their daily priorities. Our drivers will be operating step vans & box trucks provided by the employer. Click here for more job details! CDL License is NOT required! Come and join a great transportation team! Amazon, UPS, USPS, military vehicles, box truck driving experience, moving company experience, FedEx, or DHL experience is a plus! Starting Pay: $800 for a 5 day work week. Experienced drivers make more due to increased productivity. Terminal Address: 21200 Greenfield, Oak Park, Michigan 48237 Training Pay: $140/day Schedule: Typically 9-4 Sunday - Thursday & Tuesday - Saturday (Drivers are expected to work one late day per week until around 6:30 to do late pickups. We pay bonuses for those days) Delivery Driver Benefits: Vacation pay after 1 year Weekly pay 401k match up to 4% after 3 months No micromanaging Uniforms provided by employers Paid training Delivery Driver Requirements: Clean Motor Vehicle Record Practicing safe driving techniques Applicants must be 21 years of age or older 1 Year of Driving Experience related to a job in the last three years (UBER, LANDSCAPING, DELIVERY DRIVING, MEDICAL TRANSPORT, CONSTRUCTION, EMT, FIREFIGHTER, ETC ALL QUALIFY) Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!) Must submit to a full background check Physically able to carry a package up to 100 lbs. Ability to obtain a chauffeur endorsement on Drivers License Be able to get in and out of your truck multiple times a day (varies by route) Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities: Arrive at the Oak Park FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages Loading and unloading packages from truck Delivering packages to destination Scanning and logging packages SAFETY, INTEGRITY, SERVICE, and ATTENDANCE are top priorities!
