Schedule flexibility required. Must have weekend availability. See complete qualifications listed below:Qualifications (Must Have):Must possess a current class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with double/triple endorsement. * Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.21 years of age or olderMust possess 1 year experience within most recent 3 years, or obtained a certificate of successful completion from a qualified line haul driving schoolMust have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standardsMust meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulationsBasic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)Ability to hook-up and break-down sets of trailers that require an average lift force of about 100 pounds, several times a day or more.Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truckAbility to follow instructions and complete required trainingAbility to work independently and/or as a team memberResponsibilities:Complete run assignment in a safe and timely mannerComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsMaintain HOS documentationFuel truck as neededComply with all FedEx safety policies and proceduresCommunicate with the FedEx linehaul office in order to secure runs and transportation management system accuracyMaintain truck cleanlinessOther responsibilities may be added as neededBilingual, Military, and Veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $0.75 - $0.85 per milePowered by JazzHR
