A FedEx Contractor is now looking for fulltime FedEx drivers in the Madison, AL area . Drivers operate out of the Madison terminal and will be makingdeliveries to local residences and businesses. Our drivers use step vans and box trucks provided by the employer. No CDL required! Pay: $140.00-170.00 per day Work Hours: 8:30 AM until delivery completion (typically 3:00 PM-6:00 PM) Schedule : You must have Saturday availability, Full-time is 5 days a week. We operate 6 days per week. Terminal Location : 9324 Madison Blvd, Madison, AL 35758 Delivery Driver Benefits: Paid Training Weekly Paycheck - Direct Deposits on Friday Additional work days available After a 90-day period: Health Benefits Yearly Review to determine potential raises Company-provided uniforms Performance-based incentives Easy-to-use GPS navigation and a manager on call for issues Delivery Driver Requirements: 1+ year(s) of verifiable driving history in the last 3 years ( Previous experience with MILITARY, CDL, FedEx, Amazon, UPS, USPS, or DHL a plus ) Clean Motor Vehicle Record At least 21 years of age Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer) Ability to pass criminal background check Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and move up to 150 lbs with a handcart Ability to make 80-140 stops per day This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck at each stop Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Maintain 100% service performance – Deliver all the packages every day in a timely manner The ability to locate addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must Complete pre and post trip vehicle inspections Follow FedEx Ground procedures for scanning and handling packages Ensure truck and packages are secure at all times.
