Leggio Distribution is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground. As we continue to build our team to meet the evolving needs of E-Commerce, we are seeking reliable, Full-Time home delivery drivers to provide delivery services to homes and businesses in the St. Rose, LA area. Paid by the day: $140/day or more based on stops - Make up to $170 DAILY! Schedule: Start at 7:45am and deliver until completion around 4:45pm. The schedule an vary based on operational need of the terminal. Delivery Driver Benefits: Health Insurance: We provide supplemental health insurance after 60 days of employment! Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Arrive at St. Rose FedEx terminal ( 310 James Dr E Saint Rose, LA 70087 ) to pick up vehicle and packages, around 7:45am. Drive a company-owned step van (P700 or P1200) while following our strict safety standards on and off the road. Use company owned technology to manage the delivery process in a quick and safe manner. Complete 90 stops/day for ground delivery, 155-210 stops/day for mostly home delivery. Delivery Driver Requirements: Must have at least 1 year in the last 3 years of verifiable work driving experience (Any driving that is part of a job where pay was received - Construction, Food Delivery, Landscaping, etc.) Minimum age of 21 years old Must have a Valid Driver’s License (Class D Louisiana Driver’s License) Must have a clean driving record Must be willing to submit to a background check Must pass a Drug Screening Must pass a DOT physical + able to lift packages up to 150lbs, equipment provided to assist We are also looking for drivers who are willing to travel on occasion. Schedule: Based on operational need of the terminal Shift Time: Start at 7:45am and deliver until completion around 4:45pm.
