Job Description Summit Logistics is now hiring Full-Time OR Part-Time FedEx Delivery drivers in the Jacksonville, FL area.Drivers will be operating out of the Jacksonville Terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in Jacksonville, FL. Our drivers will be operating P800, P1000, or P1200 Step Vans provided by the employer.CDL License is not required but is a PLUS !!! Work Hours: Various schedules available – Flexibility is important – some weekends required! Daily shift is 7:30 am - 3:30 pm or 5:00 pm (until delivery completion). Drivers typically make 120 or more stops per day. Paid by the day : $150 per day ( averages $20-$26 PER HOUR ) with potential for growth and advancement based on experience and exceptional performance!! PLUS , drivers who exceed 120 daily deliveries will earn $1 on every delivery over 120!! Requirements Mechanic background a HUGE plus Bilingual not required but also a PLUS Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!) Must have had employment that required you to drive for at least 1 year within the last 3 years or 5 years in the past 10 Must have valid Driver’s License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record Applicants must be 21 years of age or older No felonies / violent misdemeanors or drug related misdemeanors in the last 10 years Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds Responsibilities: Complete 120 or more stops a day Arrive at the Jacksonville Terminal to pick up vehicle and packages Follow routes and time schedule Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle Use a scanner to record package deliveries Compliance with all company policies and regulations Contribute to a culture of safety Benefits: One week of paid time off after 6 months of work!!
