With over 300 beds, we provide comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, the region's largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and prestigious institutes like the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and Neuroscience & Spine Institute. Our services range from cancer care and heart and vascular care to joint replacement, orthopedics, women's services, complex surgical services, and a Bariatric Surgery Center. We also have a 60+ bed rehabilitation hospital that offers both inpatient and outpatient comprehensive care.๐ฉโโ๏ธ Job Summary and Qualifications:Duties As the Pre-Operative Manager, you will be a working manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Surgery Center/Pre-Admission Testing Clinic. Your role involves: Staffing Management: Overseeing staffing assignments to ensure effective department coverage and maintain productivity targets. Staff Development: Planning and directing staff activities and fostering a professional and safe environment. Unit Operations: Participating in unit activities/operations to ensure smooth functioning. Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience. Supervisory Experience: 2+ years of experience in a supervisory/charge nurse position in surgery/day surgery. Education: ASN required, BSN preferred. License: Registered Nurse license in Texas. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
