Since 1967 we’ve been installing all styles of fence, gates and specialty items in the St. Louis and Metro-East area. Job Summary: Chesley Commercial Fence & Rail is actively seeking to hire an experienced Fabricator/Warehouse Assistant. If you are a talented welder and/or fabricator and are great at inventory and organization, we would love to have you on our team. Our ideal candidate will be dependable, consistent and be excellent at working in a team environment with both co-workers and management. If this sounds like you, apply today. Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Maintain a safe and clean workspace Loading and unloading supplies Prepare assembly by locating materials required for projects Cut pipe to specified lengths using cutting tools Fabricate gate per design specifications using hand tools Operate simple machines to assemble chain link fence gates Drive a skid steer to move material and help the team Other duties as assigned Experience: 1+ years of related experience using hand or power tools Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75lbs.) Ability to communicate verbally, read, write and perform basic math functions Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $18-$24 per hour starting pay - based on experience Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, voluntary term life, Simple IRA with 3% Employer Matching.
