Technical Project Manager - Cloud

We are searching for an experienced Cloud Migration Technical Project Manager to support a client in support of the Maryland state government. Responsibilities: Manage cloud migration projects, specifically converting legacy databases and migrating to Azure Manage client expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the project Oversee a 3-month proof of concept Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion Identify and mitigate risks, and escalate issues as needed Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately Continuously improve project management processes and best practices Qualifications: Master's degree in Project Management, a PMP certification, or both Strong experience in cloud migration, specifically with Azure and/or AWS Certified in AWS or Azure Experience with legacy data and legacy systems migration projects Ability to manage client expectations and maintain clear communication Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Other Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proven stakeholder management experience High energy, drive, and a passion for building new and innovative products A self-managed and dedicated approach with the ability to work independently Strong problem-solving capabilities as well as the flexibility (of working style) to deal with changing and conflicting priorities Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition Experience working alongside C-suite or other senior executives US Citizenship required for this Position : Yes Performance Location : Remote with 1 day per week in Baltimore, Maryland Relocation Assistance : No Clearance Type : None Travel Required : 1x per week to Baltimore, Maryland on client site Salary : $140K - $160KConnect Centric is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
