Welder / Fabricator Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent Area : Melksham Annual Earnings: GBP 27,000 Contract Hours: 8am : 5:30pm (Monday : Friday) My client, a specialist in the repair and Fabricating of HGVs is actively seeking to employ a fully skilled and experienced Welder / Fabricator to work within their new build and refurb facility based in Melksham You will be required to undertake Welding / Fabricating on commercial vehicle bodies and chassis in a maintenance and refurbishment setting. Please find below the essential requirements that my client is looking for; KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE Experience in MIG and TIG welding 1.6mm : 6mm depth. Experience working with Stainless Steel. SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from a drawing and then complete welding Ability to spot visual faults in fabrications and correct them in a timely fashion. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. QUALIFICATIONS Welding/Fabrication Qualifications. Relevant intense welding training courses. Welding approval certificates.
