Job Summary As part of the Pre-Construction team, the Project Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties. This position requires a highly self-motivated and professional individual, capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create project submittals Create project comparison sheets Generate and update additional project paperwork Utilize project spreadsheets and software to complete task Check email on a regular and consistent basis, and respond to emails in a timely manner Conduct internet searches to locate specification sheets on project-specific fixtures, using client/contractor provided part numbers. Assist the Pre-Construction Manager with daily activities related to all phases of a project lifecycle Create job folders with in company software Download files and RFIs to prep for sales team Qualifications and Skills: Education and Experience Proficiency in English Advanced computer user skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe and internet search programs High School Diploma required 1 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry a plus Key Competencies Ability to prepare and modify documents including correspondence, memos and emails Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities Strong written and verbal skills; must be able to exchange detailed information accurately and concisely with co-workers, clients, and vendors Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and switch priorities quickly and efficiently Ability to perform standard office tasks - answering phones, filing, copying, faxing, scanning, etc. Ability to work independently as well as be a positive team member Compensation and Benefits Compensation – Hourly at $16.00 to $21.00 Benefits Available Insurance – Medical, Dental and Vision 401(k) Plan with company match Supplemental Insurance Plans Powered by JazzHR
