Blue Star Glass looks forward to continued growth, through new technologies and products, an excellent work force and regional expansion in years to come.To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking an experience CDL A/B driver/boom truck operator to join us in North Brunswick, NJ. We are seeking a driver who is responsible and can be a great team player. Driver will operate delivery vehicle to and from customer sites that require crane or boom to load and unload material. ROLE DESCRIPTION Load/Unload materials from our warehouses to job site. Taking precautions to ensure product and customer property. Maintain truck Assist loaders and forklift operators during loading Ensure capacities and weights meet all standards, ensure load is no over weight limits and follows all guidelines as established by the Department of Transportation Secures load - ensures proper strapping of load before transportation Operates boom, ensuring all safety protocols are met Maintains records of any maintenance issues/operating issues of equipment Confirm and maintain log of deliveries. Check item manifest to ensure accuracy of orders delivered. Assists customers/fork lift operators in unload of truck The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements: CDL experience with flat beds; operation/license of Boom cranes highly desirable Must have clean driving record; meets current DOT qualifications Must have flexible schedule for off-hour deliveries Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs or more, bending, twisting, working in a variety of environmental conditions Notes: - This is a full-time position- No overnight required- Wage will be determined according to experience- Candidates with glass experience is a big plus- CDL and/or boom truck experience an absolute plusJob Type: Full-timeJob Location:North Brunswick, NJ 08902Required education:High school or equivalentRequired experience:Truck driving: 1 year +Required language:English & SpanishRequired license or certification:Driver's License, CDL A OR B is a plusPowered by JazzHR
