Position Overview: As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be responsible for overseeing a range of operational functions, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operational teams, including but not limited to, facilities management, supply chain, and logistics. Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of operational goals with overall organizational objectives. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and safety. Process Optimization: Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement streamlined workflows and standardized procedures to enhance productivity. Monitor and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process improvements. Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including staffing, equipment, and facilities. Oversee budget planning and control operational expenses. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality assurance programs to enhance patient care and safety. Lead efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation and compliance with relevant healthcare standards. Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff. Coordinate responses to emergencies and unforeseen events. Vendor and Supplier Relationships: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to optimize service and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms. Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor operational staff, promoting a culture of growth and development. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations management. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement. Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
