Responsibilities: What will I be doing? • Conduct patrols within the hotel's interior, perimeter, and property to detect and pinpoint potential security and safety hazards, as well as undesirable situations• Patrolling hallways, parking lots, stairwells, and lobbies• React to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, safety hazards, or threats to property and/or life• Advocate for safe work procedures and practices• Launch initial investigations into incidents when required• Generate nightly logs of unusual occurrences, as well as routine actions• Ensure the accuracy of relevant documentation, as needed• Address guest requests and inquiries promptly, with a friendly and efficient approach, and resolve guest issues• Communicate with front desk agents• Contacting local police authorities• Comply with all the relevant procedural requirements• Follow safety and security policies and procedures at all times• Providing detailed descriptions• Evict loiterers or trespassers• Escorting any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the flow of property operations• Responds to guests quickly and courteously if reported by night shift staff Qualifications:• Previous Security experience• Good communication skills• Valid drivers license• No criminal background• A working vehicle• Security training• Interpersonal skills• Flexible schedule• Safety experience• CPR certified a plus• Ability to provide written and verbal Communication• Knowledge of security operations and procedure• Team player• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills Compensation: $19 - $21 hourly About Company: Located just outside of Seattle and Tacoma, La Quinta® by Wyndham Auburn provides a memorable stay in the Pacific Northwest.
